Korean BBQ Chicken Bao

Bao Down to Flavour! Karaage Chicken with a Korean BBQ Kick.

what you'll need

  • Big Al’s Karaage Chicken Bites
  • 20g Korean BBQ Sauce
  • 1tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 2 Slices of Cucumber per Bao
  • 1tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 120g Kimchi
  • Bao Buns

what to do

  1. Mix the cucumber, sesame oil, sesame seeds, soy sauce & vinegar together and set aside for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Steam the bao buns as per package instructions
  3. Cook the Big Al’s Karaage Chicken as per package instructions and toss in Korean BBQ sauce.
  4. Build your bao by adding kimchi, cucumbers and then the tossed chicken (2 pieces per bao)
  5. Serve with additional sauce on the side
