Big Al’s Slow Cooked Lamb Shank allows you to offer your customers the pleasure of slow-cooked food, in minutes. Our Big Al’s chefs have done all the hard work, so you can benefit from consistently outstanding serves that are easy for your staff to prepare.

 

Big Al’s Slow Cooked Lamb Shank is cooked sous-vide for over 5 hours. This makes the meat juicy and tender. Served with a delicious red wine and rosemary gravy giving the whole dish a real sense of occasion. Each Lamb Shank is individually portioned, so you keep waste to a minimum and profits to the max.

 

Oven: 180 °C

From Frozen: Remove all packaging. Empty the contents of the pouches into an oven proof dish and cover with foil. Cook for 50 minutes with foil and then turn the shank and cook more 5 minutes without foil. Stir the gravy halfway through cooking.

From Defrosted: Remove all packaging. Empty the contents of the pouches into an oven proof dish and cover with foil. Cook for 35 minutes with foil and then turn the shank and cook more 5 minutes without foil. Stir the gravy halfway through cooking.

Microwave 1900 W:

From Frozen: Remove from outer packaging, pierce pouch several times.

Place on a microwaveable dish.

Heat for 5 minutes, carefully shake pouch and stand for 2 minutes, heat for a further 2 minutes and shake pouch gently before serving.

From Defrosted: Remove from outer packaging, pierce the pouch several times.

Place on a microwaveable dish.

Heat for 4 minutes, carefully shake the pouch gently before serving.
