According to the Huffington Post, News came out recently that McDonald’s is having its worst sales year in nearly a decade. In what may be a bid to generate some buzz for the brand, they’re giving a select U.S. market a sneak peek of one of their international menu items.
McDonald’s McWraps, entree-sized tortilla wraps, have had success in international markets, so the chain is testing them out in Chicago. The chain’s Snack Wraps have been one of their most successful and profitable recent additions to the menu, and these larger format wraps could potentially be the same.
The wraps come in three flavors, Chicken & Bacon, Sweet Chili Chicken and Chicken & Ranch, and are priced at $3.99.
For now, this is just a test, to see how the wraps sell in the American market.
