As experts in delivering innovative solutions to foodservice customers in various sectors and industries, we are thrilled to announce three new partnerships in Scotland. Three of the biggest names in Scottish sport and leisure, Celtic Football Club, Hamilton Academicals Football Club and M&D’s Theme Park have all signed up to serve the Big Al’s product range through each of their own bespoke branded concept solutions. So just where can you find us?
Celtic Park
Celtic Park Stadium is home to Celtic FC and has a capacity of 60,000 football fans. For the stadium, Big Al’s Foodies concept matches perfectly with its subtle colour scheme and discreet branding, and caterers are able to deliver customers high-quality food with an added premium experience. Since the Big Al’s food offer went live with Celtic Park in April, they have reported a 30% soar in total sales.
Hamilton Academicals Football Club
Hamilton Academicals Football Club’s Caledonian Stadium is the second Scottish stadia operator to have recently installed a Big Al’s concept and bought our products on board. The club chose Big Al’s Diner with the prominent red and white theme, which matches their own home strip and product items they are choosing to sell are Big Al’s Flame Cooked Beef Burgers and Italian Twist Pizzas – a perfect fit with football fans. Big Al’s Diner will feature in both the away and home stand to boost food sales for the club throughout the ground.
M&D’s Theme Park
One of Scotland’s biggest attractions, M&D’s Theme Park attracts an annual footfall of more than 800,000 people. The team at M&D’s have chosen three concepts to feature across the park which include Big Al’s Diner, Deli Delicious, and the Grill Guru. The Diner was selected for the relevance the Americana trend brings to a theme park while the Deli Delicious offers a, fresher alternative for families and features in M&D’s food court, with food offerings including Italian Pizza Twists and Chicken Wraps. M&D’s have also chosen to implement the Grill Guru concept to match meat lovers’ needs and ensure the Big Al’s range caters for all demographics that visit the park – from groups of friends to families and couples.
Mark Violet, Business Development Manager for Scotland at Big Al’s Foodservice, comments; “We’ve got a lot of experience in improving the food offer at sports, leisure and stadia venues, having already worked with the likes of Leeds United Football Club and Bounce Central. A branded concept signifies a partnership between us and the venue we work with, to drive profits for that operator. We welcome the opportunity to partner with Celtic, Hamilton Academicals and M&D’s maximise their own offer and are delighted to be doing so with the added value of both our product range and branded concepts.”
